Have a seat & make yourself at home

Can I get you something to drink? I have a lot to catch up on so get comfortable. I am working backwards here, let's begin...
We just got through coloring our Easter eggs. I broke a few while boiling them, so this is all we had. It worked out okay with the attention span of a 2 year old. (be kind, I don't think I have colored eggs in 10 years. again, deprived child.... Just kidding mama I love you!)

Are you still there?

Saturday night Court came over to see us for a little bit before she headed back to school. She wanted to have some Mickie's before she went back to dorm food. Kenzee was in agreement as she has always loved the onion straws (Evidence above). Sunday morning Court, Kenz, & I went to church. Kenz entertained herself with the palms. She wanted to wear the new dress that Grammy got her. When we got home she wanted to model it with her matching doll dress.

Tumbelina

Kenzee and I went to our first tumbling session Saturday morning. She was anxious to get out there as you can see! The class is for 18mo - 3 years and was actually a little more advanced than I thought it would be. They actually do 3 different circuits that includes almost all of the equipment there. The easter bunny also stopped by that day. After all of the circuits they blow bubbles, get stamped, sing the goodbye song, and do hi fives. This was the only time I wasn't helping her so that's the only pics I got, dangit! We both had a good time and are anxious to do it again!

Ready, Set , Weekend

We kicked off the weekend with a trip to Old Chicago for some food, drinks, & ILLINI! Kenzee & Caitlin kept Mike & Molly hopping. We were there for quite awhile (the whole game) so they were good considering. The boys played a great game and pulled through again!

Next on the agenda

Monday night Kenzee & I headed to Sears for Easter pics. She didn't have a nap that day so she wasn't in the greatest mood, but it went okay. I will try to get those posted soon. Tuesday the 3 of us went to Holy Family for their preschool, preK, Kindergarten roundup. We got some info, met the teachers, and hung around the classroom. We'll be signing up tomorrow for 3 full days. She will get to spend extra time with Nan & Papa when school starts, they will take her and pick her up. It's so great to have so much help from our parents! Wednesday Court came over to stay with Kenz because Chad & I both had to work late. Thursday was mellow, well it must have been anyway because I can't remember it.....

Go Illini

Chad & I went to an Illinois game with Mike & Molly last Saturday. Good game especially since we beat them (MN). and beat them again this weekend, not so much against WI today, oh well! Kenzee was having a good time too with Grandma Kimm. They went to the middle school to visit with the easter bunny and came home to a good nap. (Great Grandpa Chuck learned to not take Kenz's food, and Grandma Kimm learned that she doesn't like her cheese folded)
On to the next event!

Kenzeeisms

About a month ago Kenzee saw something she wanted in the toys r us ad. I explained that we don't just buy toys but she could ask for it as a present for her birthday. She didn't say anything, just ran around the house, picked up all of her paci's, and threw them in the garbage. Then she ran up and said, can I have a present now? Chad had told her many times if she threw away her pacis she could have a present.
That took care of that.
Last night I called the dr and said I thought Kenzee had an ear infection b/c she had a low grade fever, runny nose, wasn't sleeping or eating, and was exceptionally mean. Sure enough she had a double ear infection. Upon arriving to Nan's she announced she had 2 "ear inspections".
We were singing Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, will there be enough room, for us at the top of the coconut tree; her version went something like this "chicken, chicken, boom, boom, is there be enough room for us at the top of the polka dot tree"

A friendly game of TAG

I've officially been tagged. I guess that means I am at the next level of bloggerville. There are a ton of these things flying around, so you may get to know me way more than you ever wanted to.

10 years ago—Finishing my freshman year at U of I. Oh if I only knew then what I know now.

5 Things on my to do list today were:
1. Get bank statements done, Journal entries started- Yup
2. Go to the bank - Failed
3. Buy diapers – CHECK CHECK (I am about sick of this one)
4. Easter decs out – uh, yeah almost done
5. Finish Caitlins scrapbook – I could go on forever

Things I would do if I were suddenly a Billionaire:
1. PAY off DEBTS!!!
2. Buy a Volvo xc90, a truck, and a Honda Accord (guess who gets what)
3. put money away for Kenz’s school
4. new house, nothing too extravagant, just nice, and paid for
5. Vacations – first and foremost Disney, never been. I was a very deprived child.

3 of my bad habits:
1. spending money
2. talking smack
3. tearing my nails off

5 Jobs I've had:
1. SuperStar Sports Center- Cashier/ticket counter/prize girl/ party girl
2. Menards- let’s see cashier/head cashier/asst manager/office manager/accounts payable/paint girl/cashier
3. True Value Hardware – cashier (this only lasted about a month until I got what I wanted from Menards)
4. O’Brien Steel Service – AP, invoicing, stuff
5. AirLand Transport- Accountant

5 Things people don't know about me:
1. I should be a proofreader, I seriously can’t stand when people send out things with spelling and/or grammar errors. I am not talking about blogs, just professional things.
2. I have an obsession with knowing what kind of car everyone drives.
3. I like Chuck E Cheese pizza
4. I don't handle confrontation well.
5. I have a need for speed – at LEAST 15 tickets in my 13 years of driving, license suspended at the tender age of 17.

I am tagging anyone that wants to take the plunge with me!
