Really?

It's October already? This has been one crazy month already. It looks like i have to go all the way back to September to catch up. We'll see what I remember. I believe it was 3 or 4 weeks ago that Court was home as well as Katie, Beth, and their families. It's not often that we get all of our families together at the same time, so this was a great opportunity for all of us to catch up. We went to Tanner's on a perfect Saturday morning for some good play time, snacking, and of course apples too!Even CayCay was able to join in the fun.

Back to School....

Wow, this summer flew by. Kenzee finished up her summer tumbling class at Jump Start and officially is back in school now! We are going to try an actual dance class this fall and see how that goes, so for now she said good bye to Miss Thecla.

Next party

Kenzee's next party was the next day at the Children's Discovery Museum in Normal. We shared this party with Jack & Lilly from her class at Holy Family. About ten of their preschool (pre-K now) friends were able to come and have a good time with them. My friend made the super cute cakes for each of them which we never even cut into beacuse of the cupcakes! The kids all had a blast and nobody wanted to leave of course!

more pics

this is gonna be a long one

August was a REALLY busy month. Kenzee turned 4 on the 6th along with a WHole BUnCh of other people. Kenzee shares her birthday with her cousin Caitlin, her FaVorITe teacher ever Mrs Pauli, and 2 other kids from her class. This year we decided to double up on our parties and do them together. First we had Caitlin and Kenzees party at Caitlins house. It was a pretty gloomy day outside but did clear up in time for a little pinata action. That was the only thing that Kenzee asked for every time I asked what she wanted for her birthday party. Other than that she went back and forth between princess, dora, and something else. We had a great time with all of our familys and lots of food and presents....

Fireworks

Court and I took Kenz to the Glen Oak fireworks on Friday night which is always a good time. Then Kenz and I got up Saturday morning and went to the West Peoria parade as is our tradition. We are so dedicated we sat there in the pouring rain for over an hour, cuddled up with a blanket around us and an umbrella overhead. We just had to see Lindsay and Mckenna as well as Grammy and Sheila. The rest of the day stayed the same, wet and cold. Which made for a pretty miserable fireworks experience on the riverfront. They were cool, but we were freezin. Yeah, that was cheesy.... So without further adieu

Checking in....

for the month of June. Where does the time go..... Amy and I took the girls to a Chiefs game, Kenzee's first, and it was HAWT! We had great seats and a great time. The girls got up and danced on the dug out and Kenzee ran right up to Homer for a big hug. We actually stuck it out for most of the game.
